International Water Resources Association (IWRA)

IWRA is a non-profit, non-governmental, international member based Association established in 1971. It provides a global, knowledge and research based forum working at the interface of science and policy for the sustainable use and management of the world’s water resources. It supports academics, professionals, organisations, students, etc. to help achieve and further in the 2030 Agenda and related targets of the Sustainable Development Goals. This is done through events (World Water Congresses, Online Conferences, webinars, master classes, etc.), publications (Water International Journal, policy briefs, special book series, etc.), projects (Water Security, Smart Water Management, Smart Water Cities, etc.) and dedicated geographical chapters and thematic task forces.  This is based on the core belief of IWRA that sustainability requires interdisciplinary and international cooperation to leave no-one behind.
