Means of Implementation: A Focus on Sustainable Development Goals 6 and 17
UN Member States completed their fourth set of intergovernmental negotiations on the Post-2015 Development Agenda with a focus on means of implementation and global partnership for sustainable development from 21-24 April 2015. To provide further input to this process, UN-Water circulated a draft compilation of means of implementation (MOI) aspects of water and sanitation.
in July 2015, UN-Water released an updated compilation, entitled, Means of Implementation: A Focus on Sustainable Development Goals 6 and 17, to coincide with the Third International Financing for Development (FfD) Conference in Addis Ababa. As a co-convener of the water-focused side event, "Ensuring availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all: Domestic Resource Mobilization and Innovative Finance," UN-Water published the document as contribution to FfD discussions on MOI, including finance.
