Vacancy as Editor for SDG 6 Synthesis Report

UN World Water Assessment Programme (WWAP – UNESCO) is recurring an Editor with organizational and communication skills, to be based in Perugia, Italy.

In order to adopt an integrated approach to SDG 6 reporting and, thereby, help policy-makers keep track of global progress, the SDG 6 Synthesis Report 2018 on Water and Sanitation is currently being developed and planned for publication in May 2018. The Synthesis report is developed by UN-Water and the production is coordinated by the UN World Water Assessment Programme (WWAP – UNESCO).

Under the overall supervision of the WWAP Director and the direct supervision of the programme manager, the Editor will receive input and feedback from the UN-Water Task Force (TF) on Reporting on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, prepare draft of sections/chapters, and support the TF on the preparation of the Synthesis Report.
