Matching Quality with Use May Increase Water Efficiency, According to UN-Water Publication

To ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all by 2030, we need to improve water quality and water use efficiency. This requires regulatory frameworks that better reflect how different water uses require different water qualities, such as water from industrial processes being reused in agriculture.

This UN-Water publication aims to provide public officials and regulators with a reference tool of laws and policies regulating water quality for different uses at a variety of geographical scales.
