UN 2023 Water Conference online stakeholder informative webinar

The United Nations, with support from the Governments of Tajikistan and the Netherlands, will host the UN 2023 Water Conference in New York from 22 to 24 March 2023.

The Conference is formally known as the 2023 Conference for the Midterm Comprehensive Review of Implementation of the UN Decade for Action on Water and Sanitation (2018-2028).

The Conference is expected to involve all relevant stakeholders, bringing together governments, the United Nations system, intergovernmental organizations, international financial institutions, international bodies, non-governmental organizations, civil society organizations, academic institutions, the scientific community, the private sector, philanthropic organizations, among others.

A multi-stakeholder informative webinar will be hosted on 12 October, from 9:30 – 11AM (EDT). The webinar, to be broadcast on Facebook, aims to share information about the UN 2023 Water Conference with all stakeholders, including an update on the preparatory meeting, to be held on 25 October, and the stakeholder consultation on 24 October 2022.

The registrations for the Preparatory Meeting for the UN 2023 Water Conference (25 October 2022)  and the Stakeholder Consultation (24 October 2022) are now open.
