Digital learning: Innovative financing for water security through an IWRM approach

The Global Water Partnership (GWP) is inviting people to start a ‘learning journey’ on ‘Innovative financing for water security through an IWRM (integrated water resources management) approach’.

This is the first learning journey to take place on the newly created SDG 6 IWRM Community of Practice (CoP), which engages IWRM practitioners around the world to facilitate information, experience and resource sharing to improve IWRM implementation at the global, regional, national, and sub-national levels.

The learning journey will begin on 8 June, with a webinar, which will take place in two slots: a morning session from 10:30 AM to 12:00 AM CEST, and an afternoon session from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM CEST. The webinar will be be held in English, French (morning) and Spanish (afternoon).

In this and subsequent sessions, water professionals will participate in expert discussions and panels, share experiences, reflect on case studies and success criteria, and provide tools to accelerate financing, all related to innovative financing for water security, through an IWRM approach.
