SDG Action Awards

The UN SDG (Sustainable Development Goal) Action Awards celebrate initiatives that mobilize, inspire and connect people to drive action towards a more sustainable future on a healthy planet.

In 2022, the organizers are also looking for individuals – the changemakers that inspire and empower others through their actions.

Through an open application process, individuals and organizations across the globe can share their stories of transformation. Applications will be reviewed against clear criteria measuring the impact, the transformative nature of the approach and the replicability or potential for scale, with winners being selected by a panel of judges.

Finalists and winners will be celebrated at a special event held in Bonn, Germany during the UN General Assembly and the Global Week to #Act4SDGs in September, and showcased on UN SDG Action Campaign platforms throughout the year.
