Partners To Discuss Potential For Innovative Financing and Resource Mobilization at a WASH-focused side event at Financing for Development (FfD) Conference

UN-Water Partners will gather on July 15 for a water-focused side event at the Third International Financing for Development (FfD) Conference to discuss the potential for domestic resource mobilization and innovative financing to help ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all.

UN-Water is pleased to share an updated compilation of technical advice that it has prepared for this meeting. Entitled, Means of Implementation: A focus on Sustainable Development Goals 6 and 7, the paper is intended to advance FfD discussions on MOI, including finance.

Summary

UN Member States completed their fourth set of intergovernmental negotiations on the Post-2015 Development Agenda with a focus on means of implementation and global partnership for sustainable development from 21-24 April 2015. To provide further input to this process, UN-Water circulated a draft compilation of means of implementation (MOI) aspects of water and sanitation.
